The Division of Cultural Readiness conducts basic and applied cultural research to inform DOD policy makers, develops/validates and assesses cultural training, provides measurement, analytic capability, and online and knowledge management tools for culture available across the DOD and industry. Additionally, DEOMI serves as the coordinating agency for the Defense Language Office to ensure synchronicity among all Services with respect to cross-cultural training.
