READINESS...is Our Guiding Principle
Library Resources
The Claiborne D. Haughton Jr. DEOMI Library supports the educational and research mission of the Institute by collecting, organizing, and making available books, videos, bibliographies, periodicals, and electronic material. The library houses more than 18,000 books, newspapers, periodicals and publications covering EO/EEO, diversity, culture, minority groups, women, organizational effectiveness, and other Human Relations areas. Web OPAC is a simple yet sophisticated searching module that provides access to the DEOMI library’s Online Public Access Catalog over the Internet. Here you will find book reviews on publications that address relevant topics. DEOMI continually updates its collection of materials applicable to current training and societal issues. Here you will find a list of current book acquisitions with a brief description of each of the holdings. This is a select list of pertinent publications subscribed to by DEOMI that address areas of interest that are applicable to training, education, and research at DEOMI. DEOMI librarians search and locate the latest equal opportunity/equal employment opportunity (EO/EEO) news articles and provide the link directly to the originating source. |
