Sabbatical Leave Program

The DEOMI Visiting Professor/Sabbatical Leave program is open to U.S. citizens with teaching or research appointments at a college or university who are planning sabbatical leave. The sabbatical must be served in-residence at the Institute.

Terms of Appointment
Participants in the program will receive a monthly stipend for up to half their normal salary and benefits. In addition, participants will receive reimbursement for travel to and from DEOMI and a relocation allowance. The length of the appointment is up to one year.

Application
Interested faculty should request and submit an application at least six months prior to their proposed sabbatical leave starting date.
