Podcasting is a method of publishing audio and video broadcasts via the Internet. The podcast files offered by DEOMI have been produced in-house and deliver audio and/or video broadcasts to your desktop. You can replay these files on your computer or load them on to your MP3 player and take them with you. The word "podcasting" combines the words "broadcasting" and "iPod." The term can be misleading since neither podcasting nor replaying podcasts requires an iPod or any portable music player.

Required Software

Activating a podcast file to play from your computer requires a media player such as "Windows Media", "Real Time", or "Quick Time" to be installed. If you are working from a personal computer and want to playback an MP3 file from an iPod, you can do so by dropping the icon into your podcast software. A user account may be required.
